contractions 

تعني التقليص اي دمج و عصر كلمتين لتصبح كلمة واحد ، وعادة باستخدام الفاصلة العلوية
apostrophe
التي تحل محل الحروف الناقصة .وهذا الدمج كثيرا مايستخدم في الكلام وغالبا في الكتابة . 
فعندما تكتب رسالة لصديق مقرب لك أو رسالة سريعة يمكن ان تستخدم ذلك و لا ينصح باستخدام الـ
